أعرب الجابونى ماليك إيفونا مهاجم الأهلى الجديد عن سعادته البالغة بالانضمام للقلعة الحمراء فى الموسم الجديد، موضحا أن موافقته على اللعب للشياطين الحمر كان خياره الأول رغم تلقيه عروضا أوروبية.

وأدى إيفونا تدريبات تأهيلية لأول مرة داخل النادى مساء اليوم"الخميس" تحت قيادة فتحى مبروك المدير الفنى ومساعده أحمد أيوب بجانب الثلاثى جون أنطوى وعبد الكافى رجب ومحمد حمدى.

وأكد إيفونا فى تصريحات لـ"اليوم السابع"، أن اختياره اللعب للأهلى لم يكن صعبا عليه فى ظل معرفته التامة بالشعبية الجارفة التى يتمتع بها النادى الأحمر وتربعه على عرش أندية القارة وأيضا الأندية العربية.

وحول مدى معرفته بلاعبى الأهلى قال إيفونا:"أعرف رمضان صبحى وتريزيجيه جيدا وهما لاعبان رائعان ولديهما مستقبل كبير مع الساحرة المستديرة، كما أننى شاهدت مباراة الفريق أمام الترجى بالكونفدرالية وأبديت إعجابى الشديد بحسام غالى وعبد الله السعيد فهما يمتلكان مقومات فنية وبدنية رائعة.

وشدد إيفونا على جاهزيته التامة للتحدى والمشاركة بصفة أساسية فى قيادة هجوم الأحمر فى الفترة المقبلة، موضحا أن لديه الكثير من الأحلام التى يرغب فى تحقيقها فى الفترة المقبلة، مشيرا إلى أن الأهلى سيكون محطته المقبلة نحو الاحتراف الأوروبى خاصة أنه مازال لاعبا صغير السن ولديه طموحات كبيرة يرغب فى تنفيذها.

وعن أسرته قال إيفونا:"بدأت فى إجراءات استخراج التأشيرات الخاصة بهم تمهيدا لقدومهم إلى القاهرة فى الأيام المقبلة فأنا بحاجة إليهم من أجل توفير أكبر قدر من المناخ المناسب الذى يعيننى على التألق مع الفريق".

وحول علاقته بالمهاجم الغانى جون أنطوى تابع:"أعرفه جيدا هو لاعب جيد وإنسان رائع ولديه إمكانات رائعة وسنشكًل ثنائيا خطيرا فى قيادة هجوم الفريق وأعرفه قبل قدومه للأهلي".

وعن الصعوبات التى واجهها منذ قدومه للقاهرة قال:"أزمة المرور هى أكبر العوائق التى أعانى منها".

وبسؤاله عن لاعبه المفضل على المستوى العالمى وهل هو ميسى أم كريستيانو رونالدو رد إيفونا ضاحكا:"أفضل لاعب هو أبو تريكة".

واختتم حديثه موضحا أنه كان يتمنى أن يشارك لأول مرة فى مران الفريق فى حضور جماهيره، موضحا أن هذه الجماهير ستكون كلمة السر فى تألقه ويسعى إلى أن يكون عند حسن الظن بهم وأيضا بإدارة النادى ومسئولوه الذين يضعوا مسئولية كبيرة عليه فى الفترة المقبلة.
